Keep It Simple

This little stainless steel whisk is one of my newest favorite things. I bought it a couple of months ago when I decided that I wanted to simplify my baking. I felt that if I could find a really good, really functional whisk, then I could set aside my bulky mixer for most projects. As much as I love my Kitchenaid mixer, I was ready for a more hands-on, non-electronic means of mixing up batters.

And THIS little whisk was exactly what I was looking for.

It's surprising how easy hand mixing can be!

Whoever created the design of this whisk was a genius.

Today I am making a savory, multi-grain, herb bread to have with our meatball soup. And I plan to bake some M & M cookies for dessert. Maybe I'm eccentric, but this using this simple tool to craft specialty kitchen goodies makes me happy.
